NEXT GENERATION OF DISCIPLES YOUTH MINISTRY
Our Youth Ministry program, the Next Generation of Disciples (NGD), seeks to bring teens to closer relationship with Christ through fellowship, fun activities, and faith-building. Our program incorporates weekly meetings, service opportunities, and parish involvement. We welcome all high schoolers, regardless of their level of experience with Catholicism. Christ opened His arms for any who would come to Him, and so do we.

Saint of the Week

Sts. Aquila and Priscilla, disciples of St. Paul
Aquila, a Jew from Pontus (modern-day Turkey), moved to Rome, where he met and married Priscilla. Together, they worked as tent-makers and embraced the Christian faith. When Emperor Claudius expelled the Jews from Rome in 49 AD, they were forced to leave.
They settled in Corinth, a bustling city steeped in pagan worship, where they met St. Paul, who became their close friend. Sharing his trade, they supported his ministry. Later, they traveled with Paul toward Syria, stopping in Ephesus, a thriving center of culture and commerce.
In Ephesus, Aquila and Priscilla continued their trade while teaching new believers, including Apollos, a gifted Alexandrian Jew. Their deep love for each other gave credibility to their witness. Their home became a gathering place for Christians — a true domestic church where the Word of God was proclaimed and the Eucharist celebrated.
Eventually, they returned to Rome when the ban was lifted, continuing their mission with courage and faith, always bearing witness to the Risen Christ.
