Our Youth Ministry program, the Next Generation of Disciples (NGD), seeks to bring teens to closer relationship with Christ through fellowship, fun activities, and faith-building. Our program incorporates weekly meetings, service opportunities, and parish involvement. We welcome all high schoolers, regardless of their level of experience with Catholicism. Christ opened His arms for any who would come to Him, and so do we.

Saint of the Week

Saint Narcissus of Jerusalem

St. Narcissus is an enigmatic Saint with sketchy biographical details and bonafide accounts of miracles he performed. One of his most famous was transforming water into oil for church lamps on Holy Saturday when the Deacons forgot to bring any. Narcissus became bishop of Jerusalem in the late 2nd century, and he was known for holding Christians to the Commandments and the teachings of Christ with very little wiggle room. After many people took issue with his hardline stances, he suddenly retired and disappeared. Many believed he had died. After a few years living in solitude, he eventually returned to Jerusalem and resumed his role as bishop. He lived to at least 100, and many speculate he lived to 160. That’s quite a life!

Saint Narcissus of Jerusalem, pray for us!

Verse of the Week

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."
